2. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using any Quartalis digital product or service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not make a purchase.

3. Products

Quartalis sells digital products including but not limited to: code templates, boilerplates, workflow configurations, Docker compose files, nginx configurations, design assets, streaming overlays, prompt libraries, and documentation. All products are delivered as instant digital downloads.

Each product listing includes a description of its main characteristics, file formats, technical requirements, and what is included. These descriptions form part of the contract of sale.

4. Price and Payment

• All prices are displayed in GBP (British Pounds) and are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable.
• The total price is as shown on the product page at the time of purchase. No additional charges apply.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.
• We do not store your full card details. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant.

5. Delivery

Digital products are delivered immediately after payment via download link. You will receive a confirmation from Stripe containing your purchase details. If you experience any issues accessing your download, contact [email protected].

6. Your Statutory Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be:

• Of satisfactory quality — free from defects and of a standard a reasonable person would expect
• Fit for a particular purpose — if you made a specific purpose known to us before purchase
• As described — matching the description on the product page

If a product fails to meet these statutory requirements, you are entitled to repair, replacement, or a price reduction (which may be a full refund). These statutory rights cannot be excluded or restricted.

7. Cancellation and Right to Withdraw

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.

However, in accordance with Regulation 37, by completing your purchase of digital content:

• You expressly consent to the digital content being made available immediately
• You acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the download has been accessed

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the product is faulty or not as described. See our Refund Policy for full details.

8. Licence

All products are sold under a Personal Use License unless a Commercial or Extended License is explicitly purchased. Under the Personal License:

• You may use the product in personal, non-commercial projects
• You may modify the product for your own use
• You may NOT redistribute, resell, or share the product
• You may NOT use the product in revenue-generating projects without a Commercial License
• You may NOT use the product to create a competing template or product

Quartalis retains all intellectual property rights. You receive a licence to use, not ownership of, the product.

9. Disclaimers

• Use at your own risk. Products are provided as starting points, templates, and reference implementations. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and adapting them before use.
• No warranty of fitness for your specific use case. While we ensure products work as described, we cannot guarantee they will meet your specific requirements without modification.
• No guarantee of continued compatibility. Technology dependencies may change. Products work at the time of publication.
• Security. Configuration files and code templates may require security hardening for production use. You are solely responsible for security review before deploying to production.

10. AI-Generated Content

Some visual assets (product images, illustrations, background art) are created with the assistance of AI image generation tools. All assets are curated, edited, and quality-checked by Quartalis. Code templates, configurations, and documentation are human-authored.

11. Limitation of Liability

• Our total liability for any claim arising from a product shall not exceed the price you paid for that product.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of products in a production environment.
• Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Free Tools

Free tools provided on this website (JSON formatter, regex tester, etc.) are provided "as is" without warranty. They run entirely in your browser — no data is sent to our servers. We accept no liability for the output of free tools.

13. Services

Custom software development, consulting, and automation services are governed by separate project agreements. These Terms of Service apply to digital product purchases only.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Changes do not apply retroactively to existing purchases.

15. Complaints and Disputes

Contact [email protected]. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may refer it to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. We are not obligated to use an ADR scheme but will consider referrals on a case-by-case basis.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
