Refund Policy

Digital Products

All digital products sold through quartalis.co.uk (including code templates, workflow files, configuration packs, design assets, and documentation) are delivered as instant digital downloads.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases. However, for digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium:

  • By completing your purchase and accessing the download, you expressly consent to the digital content being provided immediately.
  • You acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once the download has been accessed.
  • This is in accordance with Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

This consent is obtained at the point of purchase through Stripe Checkout.

When We Will Issue a Refund

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality — free from defects, safe, and durable
  • Fit for a particular purpose — suitable for the purpose made known to us
  • As described — matching the description provided on the product page

If the digital product you purchased fails to meet any of these statutory requirements, you are entitled to a full refund. Specifically, we will refund you if:

  • The files are corrupt, incomplete, or cannot be opened
  • The product does not match the description on the product page
  • The product is missing features explicitly listed in the product description
  • You were charged incorrectly or charged twice

When We Will Not Issue a Refund

  • You changed your mind after downloading the product
  • You did not read the product description before purchasing
  • The product requires technical knowledge that you do not possess (all products clearly state their technical requirements)
  • The product does not work with software or hardware not listed in the requirements
  • You found a free alternative after purchasing

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email [email protected] with:

  • Your order number or Stripe receipt
  • The product name
  • A description of the issue
  • Screenshots if applicable

We aim to respond within 2 business days. If a refund is approved, it will be processed via Stripe to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Services

For custom software development, automation, and consulting services:

  • All services are scoped and agreed in writing before work begins
  • Payment terms are specified in the project agreement
  • Refunds for services are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the agreed scope
  • Work delivered and accepted cannot be refunded

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and provide evidence of delivery. We strongly encourage you to contact us first — we're reasonable and will resolve genuine issues quickly.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
